First Camping Trip of the Year (kinda)

Travel & Adventures

My good buddy Charlie and I decided we really wanted to make it a priority to camp more in 2025. We both love getting away for a night and decided that we didn't want to let the seasons dictate when we camped and therefore decided we make our first trip in January.

We found a beautiful spot a little outside of Loveland up on a mountainside with an epic view of Longs peak. We made some steak, drank some beer, and enjoyed an awesome evening...at first, until the wind hit.

We jumped in the tent a little before 9pm and then the most intense wind I have ever felt picked up. The entire trailer was shaking and it felt like it wanted to rip the tent off of my trailer. We layed there until around 11pm we both decided that sleep was out of the questions and decided to pack up and head home. We grabbed In-N-Out at around 12:30 in Loveland and made our way home. It is a bummer it ended the way it did but we still had a blast and I am excited to get back out there again in March.
